This day draws attention to the value of science not only as an engine of progress, but also as a pillar for tackling global challenges, promoting peace and supporting sustainable development.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The anniversary honours female scientists, institutions and all those who, through their daily commitment, work to expand our understanding of the world and protect the Planet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is an opportunity to reflect on how interconnected science is with our lives and to reaffirm the importance of scientific research as a tool for growth and international cooperation.&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 10 November, International Science for Peace and Development Day is celebrated, an important anniversary established by UNESCO in 2001.
